Before using the OPatch utility, ensure that the OPatch directory is set to the path. It is applicable for all the environments (UNIX or Windows). Then we can start using the OPatch utility as follows:
[oracle@oracle-primary ~]$ export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch:$PATH [oracle@oracle-primary ~]$ opatch -help Invoking OPatch 11.1.0.6.6 Oracle Interim Patch Installer version 11.1.0.6.6 Copyright (c) 2009, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
