Chapter Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to set up your planner, whether it's a hard-copy or an electronic one. Then you learned how to take information and put it into your planner so that your entire family will be aware of what's going on. And, finally, you saw how to make sure the right information is available for each family member so that she can do her part to keep the schedule running smoothly.

Before leaving this chapter, use the following checklist to make sure you haven't missed a critical step in organizing your family's schedule.

• Find a “home” for your planner that gives everyone easy access.

• Enter current information onto your planner as a foundation.

• Teach everyone in the family how the new system works.
