CONCLUSION

For the implementation of a performance improvement solution to achieve its intended results, it must have staying power. Since the majority of such implementations are not successful, it is critical that practitioners be able to weave performance into the organizations where we work. We can:

• Help our organizations move from episodic to systemic change
• Apply the RSVP+ principles of performance improvement to every implementation
• Follow the Ten Steps to Successful Implementation
• Draw from the suggestions of established practitioners provided
• Access the I3 Change Implementation model to guide our planning
