She is a certified financial planner; a chartered financial consultant with the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania; and a certified financial services counselor with a Master’s degree in financial services. She also is an enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service and a former arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers. Sarah manages personal and retirement portfolios for hundreds of people, ranging from Gen Xers to retirees. The author of “YourMoney,” a Consumers Digest column, she is coauthor of Everything You Need to Know About Money and Investing: A Financial Expert Answers the 1,001 Most Frequently Asked Questions, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Personal Finance in Your 40s and 50s, and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Stock Investing. Sarah has two children and lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
