Some people who want to move on in life are hindered through no fault of their own. Therefore I have decided that part of the profits from this book will go to the charity Act4Africa whom I have been involved in working with and supporting since 2003.
Established in 2000, Act4Africa is a UK-based charity and a registered NGO.
The charities primary aims are:
Over a ten-year period the charity has gained a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering HIV/AIDS prevention education and HIV counselling and testing programmes in urban and rural communities through its own indigenous Act4Africa teams.
Act4Africa currently works in Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi, delivering the following programmes:
Working, wherever possible, in partnership with local organizations to deliver the programmes in schools and communities and nationwide, the focus also extends towards reaching high-risk groups, including women, sex workers, prisoners, police camps, the military and fishing communities.
