Selecting and right-clicking on any elements in the map gives you access to the element's properties. You can also tweak the map element properties by using the Properties window. Again, if the Properties window is not displayed, go to the Menu | View | Properties Window; or, you can simply press F4.

You can simply change the titles of the map and the legend just by double-clicking on the title element and edit it inline. Alternatively, you can just grab any element such as the scale and move it around.

Let's do that. We will also change the legend style to Column (right-click on the legend, then select Legend properties).

At this point, that's all we need to do.

Now we can preview our map:
