How to do it...

  1. Go to the Lightning App Builder. You can create a new app page or use an existing page. You will also need to activate it. Click on Activate for all users. So, you are creating and adding the page to the Lightning app at the same time. Under the LIGHTNING EXPERIENCE tab, click on Add page to app, select the Sales, the Sales Console, or TestLightningApp. You can add the page for both Sales and TestLightningApp.
  1. For a mobile platform, you will have the Mobile Navigation Menu; you can add this, too. You can include apps above or below Smart Search Items, click Save:

  1. Once you develop an app page, a tab is generated by default. So, we are creating an app page and adding it to the Lightning Experience apps. Now, let's check on them. Go to TestLightningApp; in TestLightningApp, DemoAppPage2 is displayed for testing the Lightning app. So, the DemoAppPage2 tab is also generated when the app is created, and we can customize the Lightning apps that we want to use. If you want to re-order them, you can do that, too.
  2. You can also check the DemoAppPage2 page in the mobile app.
  3. Create an account from a cell phone. In the search bar on the desktop site, search for the account that you created. This is how we can use the Salesforce app page on a mobile app.
