Larger circle color A
Using the pattern pieces provided, cut one larger
circle from color A and one of each color from
the smaller circle pattern. Cut two pieces of the
fusible web.
Place the fusible web on the backside of the felt,
paper side facing up. Iron for just a few seconds
to fuse it to the felt.
Place the color B pattern on top of the color
B felt circle. Pin inside the colored areas; the
white sections will be removed. Repeat for
color A.
Cut out the swirl pattern, being careful as you
get close to the center of the circle. Repeat for
colorA.

The paper backing is still applied to the backside
of each swirl color that you’ve now cut out.
Peel off the paper backing from swirl B and place
it on top of the white felt circle. Press with an iron
to fuse the two fabrics together.
Cut a 2-foot (61 cm) length of embroidery
thread, and separate in half. Thread your needle
with the three strands. Starting from under the
white side, sew a running stitch down the center
of each swirl.
Place the color A swirl on top of the color B swirl and
rotate so the swirls fit in the white spaces between
the color B swirls. Press to fuse the color A swirl.
