This chapter uses the research gathered to this point to develop a better understanding of current workplace skills and the skills necessary to fulfill strategic initiatives of the organization, including guidelines for:

• interpreting workplace assessments

• determining gaps in the workplace

• assessing internal depth.

This information will allow the succession planning team to determine the strengths and areas for development of the organization’s leadership talent pipeline.
