The toy industry has a tremendous appetite for new product, and most companies welcome outside submissions. According to the Toy Industry Association, each year between 6,000 and 7,000 new products are introduced at its American International Toy Fair in New York City.

What was once a stable list of potential licensees for your concepts has become destabilized by the current economic upheaval and paradigm shifts in business models.
