This checklist, as well as the contacts list that follows, is designed to help you take notes or record contact information as you move through the various stages of your purchase. The timeline checklist helps you schedule each step of the home-buying process in the proper order, and have the information at your immediate grasp at any time. Consider both as ways to remind you of things to do and people to contact, as well as a brief summary of the information in the book. One thing to remember: don’t be shy. Mark them up! That’s what they’re here for!
