11. Price truncation for a putable bond refers to the property that the putable bond’s price depreciation potential is severely limited as yields increase. As shown in Exhibit 7–19, as yields rise above a certain level (i.e., where the yield corresponds to the put price), the price depreciation of the putable bond is truncated.
