Head here for a selection of watches, sunglasses, and beachwear, as well as row after row of quality T-shirts. Bargaining is always possible, and sometimes even expected. Kata Plaza is best visited at night; daytime can be insufferably hot here.

These charming streets in old Phuket Town offer many fantastic boutique shops tucked inside historical buildings selling Chinese embroidery, antiques, carved wooden figurines, and regional products from Laos, Cambodia, and Burma.

With lower prices than Patong, Kata, and Karon, the night market in Phuket Town offers the same selection of T-shirts, fishermen’s pants, and woodcarvings, as well as second-hand clothes and Thai music albums.

It also has dozens and dozens of food stands selling Thai food.

7. Turtle Village Shopping Centre

10. Phromthep Cape Market

The best souvenir from this popular viewpoint might be the one you take on your camera. You will, however, also find a wide selection of beachwear, handicrafts, seashells, and original artwork in the cape’s outdoor markets.
