Appendix B. .NET Framework Class Libraries

The CLR provides a wonderful framework on which to build applications. Based on the CLR, many possibilities exist. With the .NET library, integration of the language and the library have reached a new level. So much is available within the .NET Framework Class Libraries. This appendix provides an overview of the library code that is available for you to use in your code. It does not provide an exhaustive reference for all of the classes, structs, or namespaces. This is because many of the major classes, structs, and namespaces have already been reviewed in earlier chapters of this book, and some of the classes, structs, and namespaces either require too much background information or too much explanation.
