Word and OneNote: better together
Using OneNote information in presentations
OneNote is one of the newest members of the Microsoft Office 2003 System. As the name implies, the Office System is designed to be a suite of products that work together to enhance productivity. As a new product, OneNote is missing much of the integration present in other Office programs. For instance, there's no built-in way to save OneNote files as Microsoft Word documents, or insert an embedded object into OneNote such as an Excel spreadsheet control.
This chapter will cover the limited built-in Office 2003 integration as well as show you some of the workarounds you can use to add some integration of your own. Even though there's no built-in way to convert OneNote files to Word documents, that doesn't mean it can't be done. It's actually relatively simple. We'll cover integration with Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
