Faithe Wempen, MA, CompTIA A+, MOS Master Instructor, has been writing and teaching about computers since 1993, with the release of her first book, Abort, Retry, Fail: 101 MS-DOS Error Messages. Faithe is the author/co-author of more than 150 books about computer hardware and software, including Mike Meyers’ CompTIA A+ Guide to Managing and Troubleshooting PCs Lab Manual, Fifth Edition, as well as textbooks, magazine articles, and website content. For more than 20 years she has taught A+ certification prep classes at Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI), and her free online classes for corporate clients, including Sony and HP, have educated more than a quarter of a million students.

Chris Crayton is a technical consultant, trainer, author, and industry-leading technical editor.
