This book is dedicated to the American composer, conductor, and pianist John Williams. From the theme music of Star Wars to Saving Private Ryan and hundreds of others, his compositions continue to bring me remarkable joy and remain the soundtrack of my life.
Thank you to everyone who has made this book possible. I’m grateful to each of you and I hope I’ve made you proud with this contribution to the body of knowledge on data.
In particular, I’d like to thank Hari Kalahasti, Steve Weiss, Paul Kuchina, Saker Ghani, Sahil Naqvi, Myles Suer, Alation, Monica Guedes, and LinkedIn Learning.
Special appreciation to the whole Wiley team, including Steven Hayes and Kezia Endsley.
Finally, big hugs and thanks to my mom and dad, Evanne and Tomi.
There are others to thank who I can’t recall right now. Don’t worry, I’ll call you.
