Perform the following steps:

1. Go to https://hub.docker.com:

2. Enter your preferred Docker ID, a valid email address, and password in the fields in the sign up section and then click the Sign Up button.
3. Upon successful creation of the account, Docker Hub will display the following information:

4. As shown in the preceding screenshot, your account is not activated yet. In order to activate your account, you have to confirm your email by pressing the Confirm Your Email button in the email from Docker that you will have received in the inbox of the email account that you provided, as shown in the following screenshot:
   

5. As soon as you confirm your email, you will land on the Welcome to Docker page, as shown in the following screenshot:

Now, you have successfully created and activated your Docker Hub account.
