A Collection of Useful Features

Oracle Database 10g comes with a slew of new features too numerous to list. Chapter 1, “Exploring Oracle Database 10g Architecture,” dealt with some of the new features from an architectural point of view. This chapter discusses some of the most useful features with a short explanation and usage where warranted. Many of the new features add new functionality, while others remove minor limitations that used to exist before or change the way a particular action was done.
