Dr. Allan Benjamin is a Senior Scientist Fellow for Information Systems Laboratories, Inc., an independent consultant, and a provider of risk management and system safety technical services to NASA headquarters. He has about 50 years of experience in the design and analysis of aerospace systems, nuclear reactor systems, nuclear weapon systems, ballistic missile systems, and military satellite systems. His fields of expertise include risk management, probabilistic risk assessment, uncertainty analysis, reliability analysis, aerodynamic analysis, and thermal analysis. In addition to NASA, he has worked for and/or consulted for the Departments of Energy and Defense, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratories, the Missile Defense Agency, the Pantex Plant, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Orbital Sciences, and various smaller companies. His advanced degrees are from Brown University and the University of California at Los Angeles.
