In Part 1, you’ll learn the basics of Business Activity Monitoring (BAM). Chapter 1 provides an overview of BAM and compares BAM with BI. Chapter 2 will teach you how to select the server configuration for BAM. Chapter 3 will lead you through a very simple, but complete, BAM project, where you will capture data from a WCF service. Chapter 4 will describe how BAM can be used in a variety of different software architectures.
