Célia Belin is a research associate in international relations at the Centre Thucydide in the University of Panthéon-Assas (Paris II). Her areas of expertise include French–American relations, transatlantic relations, European foreign and security policy, and American foreign and domestic policies.

Josef Braml is in the Americas Research Unit of the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (German Institute for International and Security Affairs). He has held positions in the Aspen Institute, World Bank and the Brookings Institution and has published extensively in international journals.

Alan P Dobson is Professor of Political Studies at Dundee University and Director of the Institute for Transatlantic, European and American Studies. His publications include US Foreign Policy Since 1945, (with Steve Marsh, Routledge: 2000), and Anglo–American Relations in the 20th Century, (Routledge: 1995)

David Kirton is Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto and Director of the G8 Research Group where he is editor of the G8 and Global Governance Series published by Ashgate. His research interests include Canadian foreign policy, the G-7 Summit system, trade–environment issues, NAFTA, foreign policy decision making, media coverage of international affairs, and international trade and investment policy. He is co-author of Canada as a Principal Power (Toronto: John Wiley, 1983), and co-editor of Canadian Foreign Policy: Selected Cases (Toronto: Prentice Hall, 1992).

Gilberto Marcos Antonio Rodrigues is Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Santos, State of São Paulo, Brazil.

Tatiana Shakleina is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for US and Canadian Studies (ISKRAN) at the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Daniel Sneider is the syndicated foreign affairs columnist for the San Jose Mercury News and a former foreign correspondent for The Christian Science Monitor.

Liu Xuecheng is Senior Research Fellow and Director of American Studies, China Institute of International Studies, and Director of Beijing Center of American Studies. He is also a member of the China National Committee for Council on Security Cooperation in Asia and Pacific Region, the standing council member of Chinese Association for South Asian Studies, and the member of ARF Expert Group. Mr Liu is presently a Visiting Professor at the University of Texas at Austin.
