Shameen Prashantham is Professor of International Business & Strategy, and Associate Dean (MBA), at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai, China. A China-based, India-born British national, his research focuses on what he calls “dancing with gorillas” – how new ventures and large multinationals partner with each other. He has published numerous journal articles in outlets such as California Management Review, HBR.org, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, and MIT Sloan Management Review, as well as two books (Routledge, London). He holds a PhD from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, UK.
