In this chapter, we were introduced to strings, which are one of the more important classes in Java. We looked at the different ways to define a string. We then looked at the different methods that come under the String class. We looked at some of the most commonly used methods in the String class, and in the final section, we looked at an example of reversing a string to better understand the String class.

In the next chapter we will understand the important loops and conditions through examples.
