The following are the challenges that arose due to a big change in the application. They were also a result of the major extensions associated with upgrading a console application to a web application:

• No support for RESTful services: Currently, there is no support for RESTful services because no APIs have been developed.
• Limited security: In the current application, there is only one mechanism that can restrict/permit the user from/to gaining access to a particular screen or module of the application: that is, by the login.
