Introduction of the IBM Elastic Storage System 3500 (IBM ESS 3500). The IBM ESS 3500 provides a high-performance tier of IBM Spectrum Scale file storage for a broad variety of artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, and big data applications. The IBM ESS 3500 also can be configured for high-capacity hard disk drive (HDD)-based storage, or a blend of both high performance and capacity.
