This chapter discussed in detail the theory behind decision tree models, and CHAID in particular. Various important issues regarding the model building process were discussed, and readers became familiar with the dialog boxes and results of the CHAID model.

In the next chapter, we will continue to develop our model building skills by comparing models using the Analysis and Evaluation nodes. Readers will also learn how to score new data and how to export those predictions outside of Modeler.
