Architecture and planning
This part introduces the IBM TS7700 R5.0 (IBM TS7700) family. The family consists of the IBM TS7770 disk-only virtualization solution, the IBM TS7770T (Tape Attached with TS4500 or TS3500 support), and the IBM TS7770C (Cloud Attached). This part also provides a detailed technical description of the architecture and components of the TS7700. In addition, the information that is needed to plan for the implementation is addressed.
