Michael Skapinker is a Financial Times contributing editor, an award-winning columnist and a management educator. Born in South Africa, he was educated at Witwatersrand and Cambridge universities.
In his 34 years on the staff of the Financial Times, he held many positions, including FT Weekend editor, management editor and aerospace correspondent. He has run leadership development programmes for some of the world’s leading companies and organisations, including the European Central Bank, Siemens, Santander and Clifford Chance.
