In this book so far, we have covered what the research tells us about joy at work; how we can drive joy at work; and the state of joy at work in a complex world, changed forever by a global pandemic. Now let's look to the future. We know the path that has led us here. What comes next? How could we create a real shift toward joy? We'll look at innovation at work, which I see as the ultimate driver of joy, and we'll look ahead to the next generation, to whom the baton is being passed now. How will they make their mark on the workplace as we know it and create a meaningful shift toward joy?
