As we have seen, when testing Backbone applications, we are able to perform a wide range of unit tests using Jasmine and Jasmine-jQuery alone. We are able to create model tests, view-rendering tests, and even DOM event tests without leaving the Jasmine environment. We have created and tested the functionality of each of our classes to ensure that they render the correct elements to the DOM, and that we can interact with a form by simulating user input, submitting the form, and then interrogating the form values for use within our view.
