Wrapping Up

In this short chapter, you learned about Scala’s concise and elegant way of handling exceptions. Scala also doesn’t require you to catch exceptions that you don’t care to handle. This allows for the exception to be propagated unaltered to higher levels in the code for proper handling. In addition to the different syntax, you learned about the caveats related to proper ordering of the catch blocks.
