Sevetri Wilson is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of two companies, Solid Ground Innovations (SGI) and Resilia, a New Orleans-based technology startup with an office in New York City. Sevetri bootstrapped her first company, SGI, to seven figures with zero capital, and she raised $11 million for her second company, Resilia, which launched to the public in 2016. To date she has raised the most venture capital of any female founder from the state of Louisiana. In 2010, her work was recognized with the Nobel Prize for public service, the Jefferson Award, and was featured in the Senate report to the White House on volunteerism in America during the Obama administration. Sevetri has been featured in Forbes, Black Enterprise, Essence, Inc., Entrepreneur, USA Today, CNN, and other news outlets for her work in business and technology. In 2019, she was named to Inc. magazine's 100 Women Building America's Most Innovative Companies list, PitchBook's top 27 Black Founders List, and Resilia to Venture Beat's 10 Startups To Watch Outside of Silicon Valley. In 2020, she was named to the prestigious Forbes 100 Cloud List of Rising Stars. Sevetri splits her time between New Orleans and New York City.
