I dedicate this book to my parents. My father D.K. Brown was a special agent in charge with the FBI for more than 30 years and then Undersheriff in Duval County, Florida, until his death. From him I inherited the investigative gene in my DNA. From my mother Brookie Bellamy Brown I inherited the ability to recognize the good side of a person, even in people who have committed the most heinous of acts.
