Choosing a Text Editor

You can use any text editor to work with Cucumber. If you don’t have a favorite editor, we recommend one of the following free ones:

• Windows: Notepad++: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

• OS X: TextWrangler http://www.barebones.com/products/TextWrangler/

• Linux: GEdit: http://projects.gnome.org/gedit/

All of these editors have plug-ins or extensions that will syntax highlight Cucumber’s feature files.
