Use those big words and long sentences that we can’t understand. You’re far more entertaining than your guests ever are.

And finally, a thank you to my mates. The lads I used to go to school with and now, 40 years later, I go out on a Thursday night with. They don’t actually give a flying fuck about my books and that’s great. They haven’t read any of them. They never ask about them. They won’t ever read this thank you.
