Jim leads his own consulting firm, Karrh & Associates (www.JimKarrh.com); he also serves as a consulting principal with DSG Consulting, one of the world's leading sales-enablement firms.

Whether clients need guidance in the form of consulting, speaking, or coaching, Jim can offer a valuable perspective rooted in both expertise and practical experience. He has served such clients as associations, small businesses, high-growth tech firms, North America's largest martial arts organization, and many members of the Fortune 500. As a corporate marketing leader, he helped America's oldest continuously produced brand of bottled water to grow again—building an integrated marketing and public relations program judged best in its industry by the International Bottled Water Association.

He is a popular speaker at industry events, including the CMO Summit, Packaging That Sells, UB Tech, and the Professional Convention Management Association as well as for corporate events such as the Jim Beam Global Economic Summit and Euronet USA.

Jim is host of the “Manage Your Message” podcast and a frequent guest on other leading podcasts. He is a regular contributor to the American Marketing Association Executive Circle blog, an award-winning columnist for Arkansas Business, and a guest contributor to many business and trade publications.

A recognized expert in marketing communications and buyer behavior, Jim has also served on the faculty of three universities. His research has been published in top peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, and Journal of Marketing for Higher Education.

Jim earned his MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, where he was named a Fuqua Scholar and elected by his classmates to be class speaker at graduation. He earned PhD, MA, and BS degrees from the University of Florida.

Jim, his wife Alison, and their four childrem live in Little Rock, Arkansas. But their dogs run the house.
