Time for action – configuring the human task title

Let's start with the configuration of the human task title and outcome:

  1. We will double-click on the BookstoreApproval human task to open Task Definition Editor. We will enter Book store Approval as the task title. The task title will be displayed in the user interface. In our case, this will be the BPM worklist application. We will also add a description of the human task.
  2. To define the outcomes, we will need to check those that apply. For our example, the APPROVE and REJECT outcomes are sufficient. The APPROVE and REJECT outcomes are the default outcomes. However, we could still click on the magnifier icon next to Outcomes and Outcomes Dialog would open. In our scenario, we will check the APPROVE and REJECT outcomes and click on OK.

  3. We will also select the owner of the human task. The owner has administrative privileges on the task. To select the human task owner, we click on the magnifier icon. The Identity Lookup dialog opens. Here we can search for users and select them. In our example, we select the weblogic user and click on OK to close the dialog. The weblogic user is one of the precreated users. We can create additional users and groups within the WebLogic user realm. For more information about adding users and groups refer to http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24329_01/web.1211/e24484/realm_chap.htm.
