Part III. Improving Your Project Management Abilities

“Good, Better, Best—Never let it rest—til’ good is better, and better is best.”[1] Although this quote has been used over and over again, it’s still very timely. No matter where you are in your career, you need to keep abreast of what’s going on. As Will Rogers said: “Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.” So, we all must keep moving and improving. The intent of this part is to present an assessment tool that lists all the subject areas talked about in Part II, to be used as a checklist to make your self-assessment. Once you have made your assessment, you can see your strong points and your weak points. The action now is to assess where you are and create a plan for improving your position.
