Chapter 2. Starting with C#

The best way to learn a new programming language is to start using it, and so this chapter gets down to the business end of programming. We introduce the proverbial C# Hello World program—first without using the Visual Studio .NET IDE, and then using the IDE. We also explore some of the other tools that ship with the .NET SDK.
