Using OneNote for Personal Use

OneNote's abilities to create lists and organize information can also be helpful for personal uses. Figures 2.13 and 2.14 show moving information stored in OneNote. As you can see, there are numerous lists for packing, moving checklists, and research about a new area of the country.

Since there's really no limit to the type of information you can store in OneNote, you can include any type of information you'll need for your new home. This could include a map to some local take-out restaurants and a grocery store (since there's always something you can't find when you move).

For more information about emailing your notes to others, see “Emailing Notes,” in Chapter 23.

In addition to moving, OneNote is a helpful place to store gift lists and recipes, as shown in Figure 2.15.

You can store virtually any type of information within OneNote. You'll need to experiment a bit to see how OneNote can work best for you.
