Part 2. Building the WoT

In Part 2 we describe how to build the Web of Things, and we show how to implement the various layers of the Web of Things architecture that was introduced in Part 1.

Chapter 6 is a quick introduction to the modern web architecture and describes how it can be applied to embedded devices and the Web of Things.

Chapter 7 shows how to implement the concepts presented in the previous chapter on various devices.

Chapter 8 introduces the issues of discoverability and findability and shows how to use the web techniques to expose and share metadata about the services and capabilities of web-connected devices.

Chapter 9 offers a quick introduction to web security and how to connect devices to the web and share their data in a secure manner.

Chapter 10 shows how to use the techniques and methods presented in the previous chapters in order to rapidly build hybrid Web of Things applications called physical mashups.
