This book is dedicated to
my two friends Phillip Dickie and
Charles Roseberry who reviewed
each chapter of the book over a 5-month
period in many taverns and restaurants.
They patiently listened to my explanation
of the economic, political, and social
problems caused by multinational
corporations over a 40-year period. Their
comments, suggestions, and criticisms
are invaluable and led to many changes
in the text which enhanced the story.
