James Eaton-Lee lives in Scotland with his two fantastic children, lovely wife, and three cats. He works as a Security Consultant specializing in technology as diverse as IIS and IPCop, to VPNs and VoIP in applications ranging from enterprise wireless networks to internet banking platforms. He has worked with clients ranging from small consulting firms to manufacturing companies, offshore engineering firms, and some of the world’s largest financial institutions. James is the co-author of IPCop: Closing Borders with Open Source, has written papers and given talks on topics relating to infrastructure security for groups including the British Computer Society and various Linux Users Groups, and is an MVP in the ISA Server category.
Jason Jones (BSc Hons., MCSE, MSCE: Security, MCP, CNE, MCNE) is the Principal Security Consultant for Silversands Limited. He currently provides senior-level strategic, architectural and technical consulting to all Silversands clients throughout the UK. Silversands are one of the UK’s leading IT Solution and Service providers whose dedication, professionalism and attention to detail has won them four Microsoft Gold Certifications. Jason provides the driving force for the Microsoft Security competency at Silversands, to develop enterprise-wide technology solutions which turn customer’s security goals into a reality. Jason’s specialities focus around the Microsoft security arena with a high-level of expertise in using ISA Server to secure and protect Microsoft based products like Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server. In addition, Jason also provides consultancy for all other aspects of Microsoft infrastructure security like Server Hardening, Microsoft Certificate Services and the adoption of Microsoft Security best practice across customer systems.
Jason has over 10 years of experience in the computer industry and has a wide range of technical knowledge, linked with a passion for IT security in order to provide customers with the very best level of security possible. Jason is also a moderator for ISAserver.org where he is able to share this passion with others, and help them realize the real-world potential of ISA Server.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Southampton, and resides in the south of England with his inspiring wife Tanya and his beautiful daughter Caitlin.
Steve Moffat is an MCSA and has worked in IT support services for the last 25 years. Steve has been employed in the UK by Digital, Experian, Computacenter (to name but a few). He has also consulted with major companies and organizations such as Zurich Insurance, Seagram’s, Texaco, Peugeot, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and the Bermuda Government. He now lives and works in paradise. Since moving to Bermuda in 2001 to work for Gateway Ltd as a senior engineer/consultant, he has gained a wife, Hannah, has formed his own company and is currently CEO & Director of Operations for The TLA Group Ltd. He specializes in ISA Server deployments & server virtualization. He is also the owner & host of the well known ISA Server web site, www.isaserver.bm
