Wrap-Up

Apple Watch and iPhone are two tightly integrated products, and it really shows in the WatchConnectivity framework. In this chapter, you learned how Apple Watch communicates with the world around it, either through WatchConnectivity or through the network in general. For WatchConnectivity, you saw a number of ways to move data back and forth: sending messages, using the application context, transferring user info, and sending files. With this smorgasbord of methods for moving bits, there’s sure to be something that fits the need of your app. Next, let’s use this knowledge to power one of the coolest features introduced with watchOS 2: your own watch complications.
