We have attempted to add to the significant work of Jac Fitz-enz. Jac has been a friend and a colleague for twenty-five years. During this time, he has served as a mentor—even serving on my Ph.D. dissertation committee some twenty years ago. I greatly admire Jac’s work; he is truly the pioneer in human capital measurement. He developed the first HR benchmarking project and built on that experience at the Saratoga Institute to become the undisputed leader and pioneer in human capital measurement and monitoring. I will always appreciate his personal support and his great work for the human capital community.
