Properties
provide a way to deal with objects used in the parsing process,
particularly when dealing with handlers such as
LexicalHandler
and DeclHandler
that are not in the core set of SAX 2.0 handlers
(EntityResolver
, DTDHandler
,
ContentHandler
, and
ErrorHandler
). Any property can be read-only, or
read and write; features also may be modifiable only when parsing is
occurring, or only when parsing is not occurring.
This property allows the setting and retrieval
of a LexicalHandler
implementation to be used for
handling of comments and DTD references within an XML document.
