Dependency injection, being at the core of Aurelia, it is important to understand how it works. If you were not familiar with the concept before this chapter, it may be a lot to process at once; but rest assured, as we will keep using those features a lot in the remainder of the book, it will help you get more familiar with it.

The same thing goes with plugins, features, and routing. We will keep digging those subjects later in the book, particularly in Chapter 6, Design Concerns - Organizing and Decoupling, when we will discuss various ways to structure an application.

Before getting there, we still have a lot of ground to cover. In the next chapter, we will discuss data binding and the basics of templating, and we will add components to fetch and display data in our contact management application.
