The hardware that we will be working with within this chapter has already been described back in the section on hardware requirements. However, I think it is important to note here that the OpenMV camera does provide examples of how to use machine learning to detect objects. In fact, since the OpenMV camera uses an Arm Cortex-M processor, the very software frameworks we have just been talking about are used by OpenMV to provide machine learning capabilities!

We are now at the point where we have enough background information on what we are trying to do that we can dive in and start to implement object detection.
