Dr. Sherron Sparks earned her master’s degree in organizational leadership and a PhD in industrial-organizational (I/O) psychology. She is president and CEO/CLO of Sparks Business Institute, an end-source training and executive/leadership coaching entity for high-achieving executives in succession for CEO/COO positions In addition to her business endeavors, she is also an instructor at The Pennsylvania State University, teaching business, psychology, and labor and industry classes.

Dr. Sparks was introduced to the field of technology while serving as general manager and COO of an international technical business It was while in that position that her interest in the practical applications for nanotechnol-ogy was born.

Always at the forefront of industrial and organizational trends, Dr Sparks' ability to foresee cutting-edge business and industry trends has led to international recognition as a business leader and as an instructor Dr Sparks is a published writer who saw the importance of the emerging and exciting field of nanotechnology, and how it is already impacting and will impact the marketplace. In 2002, her firm was selected as the only woman-run technical company, in a group of 15 companies, to accompany the governor of Pennsylvania to Australia to study new technology trends.
